3. AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND CONTRACT NO. 23657 WITH ALESSANDRO, LLC BY $33,000 FOR A TOTAL\nAMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $105,000 FOR TEMPORARY PROPERTY LEASE OF 95 ALESSANDRO\nPLACE (Public Works Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find the contract proposed in the agenda report to be categorically exempt under the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) in accordance with Title 14, Chapter 3, Article 19, Section 15061, Class 3, the General Rule\nthat CEQA only applies to projects that may have an effect on the environment;\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to amend Contract No. 23657 with Alessandro, LLC by $33,000 increasing the not-\nto-exceed amount to $105,000 for the lease of the property 95 Alessandro Place, City of Pasadena; and\n(3) To the extent this transaction could be considered a separate procurement subject to the Competitive Selection\nProcess, grant the proposed contract amendment with Alessandro, LLC an exemption from the Competitive\nelection Process set forth in the Competitive Bidding and Purchasing Ordinance pursuant to the Pasadena Municipal\nCode Section 4.08.049(A)(5), contracts relating to the acquisition, disposal or lease of real property.
