P. 103 6. SUBJECT: CITY OF YUCAIPA 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOW\nRECOMMENDATION: That the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Pyro Spectaculars, Inc. in\nthe amount of $40,145, to produce a Firework show; and\n2. Find that the public interest will not be best served by a formal proposal process,\nwaive the formal solicitation of proposals/qualifications in accordance with the City\nof Yucaipa Municipal Code Section 2.24.060 and Ordinance No. 42; and\n3. Approve the closure of Chapman Heights Road west of 10th Street and 13th Street,\nand the closure of Gold Mountain Road north of Chapman Heights Road from 6:00\np.m. until 10:00 p.m. on July 4, 2023; and\n4. Direct staff to include expenditures in the amount of $70,000 and revenues in the\namount of $10,000, for a firework show and 4th of July event, in the draft FY\n2023/2024 budget.
