9.E. Allocation and Appropriation of Funds for Immigration Education and Support\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Approving an allocation of $50,000 from the General Fund to be designated for\nimmigration education and support, as requested at the July 2, 2025 City Council\nmeeting;\n2. Appropriating these funds in the FY 2025-26 budget; and\n3. Authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to administer these funds as needed in\nresponse to future immigration-related needs impacting the Monterey Park\ncommunity.
