6. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK TESTING SERVICES\nAND MAINTENANCE – F2M17-37, C2M22-33, M2M23-41\nOn June 27, 2022, City Council awarded a contract (C2M22-33) to Western Pump, Inc.\nfor Underground Storage Tank (UST) testing services and maintenance in the amount of\n$50,000. During the fiscal year 2022-2023, unforeseen repairs were completed to maintain\ncompliance with Los Angeles County Underground Storage Program. Additional funds are\nrequired to complete repairs, provide maintenance and improvements to City fueling\nstations, and obtain compliance with required County permits. All other provisions of the\ncontract remain unchanged.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve an amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to the contract with Western\nPump, Inc. (C2M22-33), in the amount of $30,000 for the Underground Storage (UST)\ntesting services and maintenance; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize Council’s action. (M2M23-41)
