REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEM REGARDING GUN VIOLENCE RESTRAINING\nORDERS (“GVRO”) AND POTENTIAL ACTIONS FOR REDUCING WEAPONS WITHIN THE\nCITY’S JURISDICTION\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Receive and file this report;\n(2) Direct the City Manager and City Attorney to propose potential actions on a future meeting\nagenda regarding what the City can do to increase public awareness regarding GVROs\nand/or take action to reduce the number of guns within the City’s jurisdiction; and\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\n[7.] FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS\n[8.] CLOSED SESSION (IF REQUIRED; CITY ATTORNEY TO ANNOUNCE)\nADJOURN
