3.1 REVIEW OF PENALTIES DURING SNOW CONDITIONS\nAt the City Council’s January 11, 2023 Adjourned Regular Meeting, an Agenda item request was made by\nMayor Pro Tem Melnick and seconded by Councilmember Mote to direct staff to research fees and citations\nrelated to illegal parking and illegal snow play activities. As a result of the City Council’s review and\ndiscussion of this item, City Council may decide to provide staff direction to increase the penalty amount(s)\nfor these illegal actions. If directed, staff will present a proposed ordinance with the updated penalty\namount(s) for consideration at a future City Council meeting.\nEnvironmental Determination: exempt under section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines.
