A. Award Bid SP2717 and Construction Contract to Sully Miller Contracting Company for the FY 25-26\nAnnual Paving Project and Accept Transportation Development Act Grant\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Award Bid #SP2717 to Sully Miller Contracting Company for the FY 2025-26 Annual\nPaving Project for the Public Works Department;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a contract with Sully Miller\nContracting Company in an amount not to exceed $7,591,163 (including a 15%\ncontingency);\n4 Authorize the City Manager to accept a grant awarded in the amount of $211,000 from\nthe Los Angeles Metro Transportation Development Act (TDA) Funds for FY 2025-26\nAnnual Paving Project in the Department of Transportation, and to accept all grant\nrenewals;\n5 Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the grant and\nall grant renewals; and\n6.
