CARTER]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing Staff and the City\nAttorney to draft an ordinance to prohibit the sale and use of algorithmic\ndevices to set residential rental prices.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct Staff and the City Attorney to research\nand draft an ordinance prohibiting the sale and use of algorithmic devices\nto set residential rental prices; and 2) Return to the City Council within six\nmonths with a draft ordinance for review and consideration.
