G.\nConsideration to approve the submittal of a grant application to the California\nDepartment of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire) Wildfire Prevention\nGrants Program for fuel modification activities. (Hevener)\nRecommendation: 1) Approve the submittal of a grant application for\n$948,000 to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection\n(CalFire) Wildfire Prevention Grants Program to fund fuel modification (brush\nclearing) activities; 2) Adopt Resolution No. 2025-__, A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES\nAUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF\nFORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION (CALFIRE) WILDFIRE PREVENTION\nGRANTS PROGRAM APPLICATION FOR FUEL MODIFICATION\nACTIVITIES; 3) Approve Amendment No. 3 to the professional services\nagreement with Blais & Associates for grant support services thereby\nincreasing the contract authorization amount for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 by\n$40,664 from $59,336 to a total not-to-exceed amount of $100,000; and, 4)\nAuthorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Amendment No. 3 in a form\napproved by the City Attorney.\nAgenda Report
