E.\nREPORT ON COMMUNITY WORKFORCE AGREEMENTS AND LABOR TRANSPERENCY\nORDINANCES\nRequested Action: that the City Council receive the information report on community workforce\nagreements and labor transparency ordinances; and:\n1) Determine whether to proceed with a community workforce agreement and labor transparency\nordinance for the City and, if so, provide direction to Staff to 1) prepare a policy resolution for\ncommunity workforce agreements, 2) begin negotiations with the regional building and construction\ntrades council, 3) prepare a draft community workforce agreement for the City, and 4) prepare a\ndraft labor transparency ordinance.\n2) If the Council decides to proceed with a community workforce agreement and labor transparency\nordinance, determine whether to establish an ad hoc subcommittee of two Council Members to work\nwith Staff on the development of this project and appoint two Council Members to the ad hoc\nsubcommittee.\nStaff Report "PDF"
