CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE FIRE HAZARD SEVERITY (FHSZ) MAP\nPURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 51179\nThe City Council will consider adopting an Ordinance to designate moderate, high, and very high\nfire severity zones within its jurisdiction, in compliance with Government Code Section 51179.\n— Recommended Action: 1) Review this report and consider any public comment; and, 2)\nAdopt (by 4/5 vote) or introduce for first reading an ordinance approving the local responsibility\narea fire hazard severity zone map, as recommended by the State Fire Marshal.
