4-A. ANNUAL WEED ABATEMENT PROTEST HEARING\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Opening the continued public hearing, receiving public comment, closing the public\nhearing;\n(2) Adopting a Resolution declaring at weeds, brush, rubbish and refuse upon or in front of\nspecified property in the city are a seasonal and recurrent public nuisance, and declaring\nits intention to provide for abatement; and/or\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nAdopting of this Resolution is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”)\nunder CEQA Guidelines § 15061 (b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no\npossibility that the Resolution may have a significant effect on the environment.
