4.I. ORDINANCE APPROVING POLICE DRONE-RELATED UPDATES TO THE BUENA PARK POLICE\nDEPARTMENT'S MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE POLICY IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASSEMBLY BILL 481\nIn accordance with AB 481, any update to Policy 409 – Military Equipment Use Policy, must be\nsubmitted and approved by City Council. In compliance with AB 481, outlined below is the\nproposed equipment to be added to the Military Equipment Use Policy (Attachment B), as well as a\nproposed updated Policy 409 (Attachment C)\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt an ordinance approving police drone-related updates to the\nBuena Park Police Department's Military Equipment Use Policy (“Policy”), thereby satisfying\nAssembly Bill 481 with respect to purchase and use of such equipment by the Department.
