Employee Health Plans for The Los Angeles County Development\nAuthority for Calendar Year 2025\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to approve renewal plans with PRISM Health, a Joint\nPowers Agreement, to continue to provide Health Maintenance Organization\nand Preferred Provider Option group medical plans by Blue Shield, and execute\na continuing contract with Kaiser Health Plan (Kaiser), effective January 1,\n2025; approve the employer-paid medical subsidy for the 2025 calendar year to\nBlue Shield and Kaiser, at an estimated amount not to exceed $3,200,000;\nauthorize the Executive Director to fund all Calendar Year 2025 health plan\ncosts using funds included in the approved Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 budget\nand funds to be approved through the annual budget process for FY 2025-26;\nand find that the approval of the employee health plans for the 2025 calendar\nyear is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
