19. “Silver RV Park” - A Proposed Recreational Vehicle Park to be Located\non Nine Plugged Oil Wells\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Instruct the Director of\nRegional Planning to consult with the Directors of Public Works and Public\nHealth, and the Fire Chief, to conduct an assessment and report back to the\nBoard in writing in 60 days on the following actions:\nWell Integrity and Sealing: ensure that the original plugging and\nabandonment records for each well are available and reviewed; and\nensure that proper plugging materials, such as cement or other approved\nsubstances, were used to create a long-term seal;\nIngress and Egress: ensure there are sufficient and safe points of\ningress and egress for emergency vehicles, Recreational Vehicles\n(RVs), and residents; evaluate the traffic flow patterns to ensure that\nvehicles can enter and exit the RV park safely without congestion,\nparticularly for larger vehicles like RVs; and verify that ingress and\negress points meet fire code requirements, ensuring that fire trucks can\naccess the site in case of an emergency; and\nEnvironmental and Regulatory Compliance: ensure that local\nenvironmental and building regulations are followed, including all required\npermitting with the City of Los Angeles, including compliance with\nenvironmental agencies like the California Geologic Management\nDepartment and the California Environmental Protection Agency.\n(24-4163)\nAttachments: Motion by Supervisor Hahn\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
