County Code, Title 2 - Administration Ordinance Amendment\nRecommendation: Approve an ordinance for introduction amending County\nCode, Title 2 - Administration, Chapter 2.81, to establish procedures regarding\nthe delegation of authority to the Director of Internal Services to enter into\ncontracts for architectural, engineering, and related services where the amount\nof the contract does not exceed $330,000; establish procedures regarding the\ndelegation of authority to the Director to amend contracts entered into by the\nBoard for architectural, engineering, and related services; delegate authority to\nthe Director to award low-bid construction contracts up to a monetary cap of\n$330,000, and take other actions related thereto; delegate authority to the\nDirector to amend low-bid construction contracts awarded by the Board,\nconfirm the Director’s authority to make findings of exemption under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as appropriate, and include\nauthority to the Director to find that the activities under the ordinance are within\nthe scope of environmental documents previously approved by the Board under\nthe provisions of CEQA, and take other actions related thereto, update and\nclarify certain terms used in the provisions of this Chapter and make other\nnecessary formatting and editorial changes; and find that the recommended\nactions are not a project pursuant to CEQA.
