15.c APPROVE OUTSIDE AGENCY FUNDING COMMITTEE 973\nRECOMMENDATIONS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 COMMUNITY\nDEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ACTION PLAN\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Conduct a public hearing and accept public comment related to\nthe Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Program\nproposed, Annual Action Plan (FY 2024-25).\n2. Approve Outside Agency Funding Committee (“Committee”)\nrecommendations for FY 2024-25 CDBG award of subrecipients,\nPrograms and/or Projects and funding amounts as proposed.\n3. Approve the use of the FY 2024-25 CDBG funding allocation\nawarded to the City of Palm Desert (“City”) by the U.S. Department\nof Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) for the proposed\nfunding of subrecipient’s Programs and/or Projects recommended\nby the Committee.\n4. Approve the City’s FY 2024-25 CDBG Annual Action Plan (“Annual\nPlan”) and authorize staff to submit to HUD.\n5. Authorize the City Manager to execute any documents necessary\nto effectuate the actions taken herewith.
