43. Violent Gang Task Force Memorandum of Understanding\nRecommendation: Authorize the Sheriff, as an agent of the County, to execute\na Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States Bureau of\nAlcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), commencing upon\nexecution by both parties and terminating on September 30, 2027, for\nreimbursement of overtime salary costs for continued participation in the ATF\nViolent Gang Task Force (Task Force) funded by the Department of Justice;\nexecute all amendments and modifications to the MOU, as necessary, for the\neffective participation in the Task Force; and execute all required documents,\nincluding, but not limited to, all future MOUs, agreements, assurances and\ncertifications, amendments, modifications, extensions, and payment requests\nnecessary for the effective and continued participation in the Task Force.\n(Sheriff’s Department) APPROVE (23-2605)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence\nOrdinances for Adoption
