6.C. SUPPORT OF THE MATTHEW SHEPARD\nNATIONAL STAMP CAMPAIGN [J.\nERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, A. LOVANO, J.\nDEL TORO, M. MÁRQUEZ]:\nThe City Council will consider supporting the\nMatthew Shepard National Stamp Campaign\norganized by the International Court System’s\nImperial Court Council and supported by the\nMatthew Shepard Foundation.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution\nNo. 24-_______, "A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD IN SUPPORT OF THE\nMATTHEW SHEPARD NATIONAL STAMP\nCAMPAIGN;" 2) Direct staff to send copies of\nthe signed resolution to U.S. Senator\nLaphonza Butler, U.S. Senator Alex Padilla,\nU.S. Congressmember Adam Schiff, the\nCitizens' Stamp Advisory Committee, the\nInternational Court System's Imperial Court\nCouncil, and the Matthew Shepard\nFoundation; and 3) Encourage members of\nthe public to send their own letters of support\nto the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.C. - ATTACHMENT A\nEXCLUDED CONSENT CALENDAR: Items removed\nfrom the Consent Calendar for separate discussion\nare considered at this time.\nPUBLIC COMMENT: This time is set aside for the\npublic to address the Council on any item of interest\nwithin the subject matter jurisdiction of the Council\nthat could not be heard under Item 1 at the beginning\nof the meeting.\nCOUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS AND MEETING\nATTENDANCE REPORTS: This portion of the\nmeeting is set aside for general comments,\nannouncements, requests of staff, subcommittee\nmeeting reports, and/or other issues of concern from\nmembers of the City Council.
