ZA-2021-10704-CUB-1A Council District: 13 – Soto-Martinez\nCEQA: ENV-2021-10705-CE Last Day to Act: 05-12-23\nPlan Area: Hollywood\nPUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED\nPROJECT SITE: 5243 – 5245 West Santa Monica Boulevard\nThe Applicant requests that the matter be continued to a date uncertain.\nPROPOSED PROJECT:\nA Conditional Use to allow the sale and dispensing of a full line of alcoholic beverages for on-site\nconsumption and beer and wine for off-site consumption in conjunction with a proposed 11,120 square-\nfoot restaurant. The restaurant would operate from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday,\nand 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., Friday through Sunday, and have a seating capacity of 199 patrons until 5 p.m.,\nand up to 376 patrons until closing time.\nThe Commission may consider a Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1) of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as the CEQA clearance for the Proposed Project and may\nconsider whether any of the exceptions under CEQA Guidelines section 15300.2 apply.\nAPPEAL:\nAn appeal of the October 7, 2022, Zoning Administrator’s determination which:\n1. Denied, pursuant to Section 12.24 W.1 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code, a Conditional Use to allow\nthe sale and dispensing of a full line of alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption and ancillary sales\nof beer and wine for off-site consumption in conjunction with a proposed restaurant; and\n2.
