53. Automobile Insurance Fraud, Disability and Healthcare Insurance Fraud\nand Workers’ Compensation Insurance Fraud Programs Grant Funds\nRecommendation: Authorize the District Attorney to accept grant funds and\nenter into an agreement with the State Department of Insurance (CDI) for the\nperiod of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, for Automobile Insurance Fraud\n(AIF), Disability and Healthcare Insurance Fraud (DHIF), and Workers’\nCompensation Insurance Fraud (WCIF) Programs in the total amount of\n$13,646,527, with no required County match for the grants; instruct the Chair to\nsign resolutions required to enter into grant award agreements with CDI for AIF,\nDHIF, and WCIF Programs; approve an appropriation adjustment in order to\nalign the District Attorney’s Office budget with the grant awards; and authorize\nthe District Attorney to execute the grant award agreements and serve as\nProject Director for the programs, include authorization to sign and approve\nany revisions, subsequent amendments, modifications, and/or extensions to\nCDI grant agreements that have no Net County Cost impact to the County.\n(District Attorney) APPROVE (23-3757)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
