36. Behavioral Aide Services for High Risk Youth Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services to\nexecute a contract with Delta-T Group Los Angeles, Inc., for Behavioral Aide\nServices for high risk youth, effective January 1, 2024 or date of execution,\nwhichever is later, through June 30, 2026, with two one-year extension options\nthrough June 30, 2028, with a maximum annual contract amount of $3,000,000,\nwith a total maximum contract amount of $13,500,000, if the two one-year\nextension options are exercised, for a total of four years and six months, 100%\nfinanced using 2011 State Realignment funds, with sufficient funding included\nin the Department’s Fiscal Year 2023-24 Adopted Budget; and authorize the\nDirector of Children and Family Services to take the following actions:\n(Department of Children and Family Services) APPROVE\nExecute extension options, and contract amendments in alignment with\nany changes to the Behavioral Aide Services program to meet program\nneeds or further extend the contract upon California Department of\nSocial Services (CDSS) approval, contingent upon applicable Federal,\nState and County contracting regulations being observed, and sufficient\nfunding is available;\nExecute amendments to increase or decrease the maximum annual\ncontract amount up to a total of 40% per year during the term of the\ncontract to accommodate any increase or decrease in services,\ncontingent upon sufficient funding being available; and\nExecute amendments to the contract in instances of acquisitions,\nmergers, or other changes in ownership and terminate the contract for\ndefault or convenience, if necessary.
