41. Children’s Health Outreach, Enrollment, Utilization and Retention\nServices Contract Amendments\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute\namendments to 17 Children's Health Outreach, Enrollment, Utilization and\nRetention Services (CHOEUR) contractors to increase the total annual base\nmaximum obligation amount for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 by $767,700, from\n$4,056,631 to $4,824,331, effective upon execution through June 30, 2024,\nfunded by California Senate Bill 154 (SB 154), partially comprised of Federal\nfunds, Assistance Listing Number 93.778, through the California Department of\nHealth Care Services (CDHCS) Medi-Cal Eligibility Division; and re-establish\nthe annual base maximum obligation amount of 18 contracts at the revised FY\n2023-24 amount; and execute amendments to the CHOEUR contracts that\nprovide an increase or decrease in funding up to 75% above or below the\nterm’s annual base maximum obligation, effective upon amendment execution,\nor at the beginning of the applicable contract term, and make any\ncorresponding service adjustments, as necessary.
