Firearm Relinquishment Services Memorandum of Understanding\nRecommendation: Authorize the Sheriff, as an agent of the County, to execute\na memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Superior Court of California,\nCounty of Los Angeles, for the Firearm Relinquishment Services, to ensure\nfirearms and ammunition have been removed from individuals pursuant to a\nCourt order, commencing upon execution by both parties and terminating on\nJune 30, 2025; execute all amendments and modifications to the MOU, as\nnecessary, for effective participation in the services; and execute all required\ndocuments including, but not limited to, agreements, assurances and\ncertifications, amendments, modifications, extensions, and payment requests in\nthe future, as necessary, for the continued provision of the services to the\nCourt.
