27. Sheriff’s Department Five-Year Lease Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute a proposed\nfive-year lease amendment with BPREP Colonnade LLC, for the Sheriff’s\nDepartment’s Fraud and Cyber Crimes Bureau’s continued use of\napproximately 22,880 sq ft of office space and 92 on-site parking spaces,\nlocated at 9900 Norwalk Boulevard, in the City of Santa Fe Springs (4), with an\nestimated maximum first-year base rental amount of $593,100, and an\nestimated total lease amount of $3,213,000, over the five-year term, to be fully\nfunded by the California Office of Emergency Services funds that are already\nincluded in the Sheriff’s existing budget, and the Sheriff will not be requesting\nadditional Net County Cost for this action; authorize the Chief Executive Officer\nto execute any other ancillary documentation necessary to effectuate the\nproposed lease, and take actions necessary and appropriate to implement the\nproposed lease; and find that the proposed lease is exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act.
