4. Library Summer Tutoring Pilot Program\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Instruct the County\nLibrarian to establish a one-year pilot summer tutoring program, with a planned\nlaunch in 2024, including establishing partnerships with community partners,\nschool districts and other County Departments and stakeholders to support the\nprogram; coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer to identify funding; report\nback to the Board by January 1, 2025, on the success and impact of the pilot,\nas well as feasibility of expansion; and authorize the County Librarian to\nexecute partnerships, agreements or amendments associated with the\nimplementation and, if approved, expansion of the summer tutoring program.\n(23-3596)\nAttachments: Motion by Supervisor Hahn\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
