Employee Health Plans for the Los Angeles County Development\nAuthority for Calendar Year 2024\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to approve renewal plans with PRISM Health, a Joint\nPowers Agreement, for the continued provision of Health Maintenance\nOrganization and Preferred Provider Option group medical plans by Blue\nShield, and execute a continuing contract with Kaiser Health Plan (Kaiser),\neffective January 1, 2024; approve the employer-paid medical subsidy for the\n2024 calendar year to Blue Shield and Kaiser, at an estimated cost not to\nexceed $2,280,000; and fund all calendar year 2024 health plan costs using\nfunds included in the approved Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 budget and funds to\nbe approved through the annual budget process for FY 2024-25.
