Proclaiming October 2023 as “Faith Leader Appreciation Month”\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Proclaim the month of\nOctober 2023 as “Faith Leader Appreciation Month” in Los Angeles County;\nencourage all County Departments to establish ways to recognize partnerships\nwith Faith Leaders and celebrate their contributions to improve the health and\nwell-being of vulnerable youth, adults, and families in need of support; and\nencourage relevant County Departments to strengthen existing faith-based\nnetworks or efforts, as well as streamline and enhance communication with the\nfaith community for better engagement.
