10. Remodel the Glenchur Medical Building Facility to an Interim Housing Site\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Barger: Establish and approve the\nproposed Glenchur Interim Housing Project, Capital Project No. 8A019\n(Project), with a total budget of $1,360,000; approve an appropriation\nadjustment to transfer $1,360,000, offset by $860,000 Homeless and Housing -\nMeasure H Special Tax revenue and $500,000 from the Fifth Supervisorial\nDistrict’s Department of Health Services’ Interim Housing Capital Pool Fund to\nthe Project, to fully fund the proposed Project; authorize the Director of Public\nWorks to deliver the Project and perform any necessary site and utility\npreparation and remodeling work using Board-approved Job Order Contracts;\nfind that the proposed Project is either not a project, or is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act; and direct the Chief Executive Officer to\ntake the following actions:\nWork with the Directors of Public Health and Public Works, the Fire\nChief, County Counsel, and other pertinent County Departments, to\nensure readiness for operation of a 24-hour emergency shelter at the\nGlenchur building, pursuant to Government Code Section 8698, et seq;\nand\nAmend a gratis license agreement between the County and the\nVolunteers of America Los Angeles to operate Glenchur Interim Housing,\nexecute any other ancillary documentation deemed necessary, and take\nany other actions consistent with and/or necessary for the\nimplementation of the foregoing actions.
