RESOLUTION OF INTENTION AND RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY\nAPPROVING THE ENGINEER’S REPORT FOR PROPOSED\nUNDERGROUND UTILITY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 2014-2 (WOODS\nCOVE)\nRecommendations:\n(1) Adopt the Resolution titled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS\n9/21/23, 3:35 PM lagunabeachcity.granicus.com/GeneratedAgendaViewer.php?view_id=3&event_id=2444\nINTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN\nIMPROVEMENTS AND TO FORM UNDERGROUND UTILITY ASSESSMENT\nDISTRICT NO. 2014-2 (WOODS COVE)”;\n(2) Adopt the Resolution titled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, PRELIMINARILY\nADOPTING, CONFIRMING, AND APPROVING THE ENGINEER’S REPORT\nAND APPOINTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING PROTESTS TO\nIMPROVEMENTS IN PROPOSED UNDERGROUND UTILITY ASSESSMENT\nDISTRICT NO. 2014-2 (WOODS COVE)”;\n(3) Appoint the December 12, 2023, City Council Meeting for a public hearing\nregarding proposed Underground Utility Assessment District 2014-2;\n(4) Acknowledge the intent to contribute $1,578,117 for the General Benefit cost, if\nthe district is approved and prior to bonds being sold; and\n(5) Authorize the City Manager to sign and return ballots in support of the\nproposed assessment district for two City-owned parcels, located within the district\nat Fire Station No. 2 (APN 644-271-01) and Bluebird Park (APN 644-222-01).\nStaff Report\nPublic Comments
