33. Event Planning, Production, and Promotion Services Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to execute a contract\nwith a qualified vendor for the provision of event planning, production, and\npromotion services for the Department of Public Health’s annual Al-Impics\nGames, effective upon execution through October 31, 2024, at a total maximum\nobligation not to exceed $300,000, consisting of $150,000 for the period upon\nexecution through October 31, 2023, and $150,000 for the period of November\n1, 2023 through October 31, 2024, 100% offset by State Realignment funds;\nauthorize the Director to execute amendments to the contract to extend the term\nfor up to three additional years through October 31, 2027, at an annual\nmaximum obligation not to exceed $150,000, contingent upon the availability of\nfunds and contractor performance, provide an increase or decrease in funding\nup to 10% above or below each period’s annual base maximum obligation,\nmake corresponding service adjustments, as necessary, and update the terms\nand conditions, as needed.
