41. Sheriff's Department Special Enforcement Bureau's Tactical-Caterpillar\nSubaward Grant\nRecommendation: Authorize the Sheriff, as an agent of the County, to execute\na Pass-Through Grant Subaward with the California Governor's Office of\nEmergency Services (Cal OES), accepting funds in the amount of $20,000,\nwith no match requirement for the grant period from July 1, 2022 through\nJune 30, 2024 to fund upgrades and repairs for the Sheriff's Department's\nSpecial Enforcement Bureau's Tactical-Caterpillar tractor and its transportation\ntrailer; execute and submit all required grant documents including, but not\nlimited to, agreements, modifications, extensions, and payment requests that\nmay be necessary for completion of the grant; apply and submit a grant\napplication to Cal OES for future fiscal years, and execute all required grant\napplication documents, including assurances and certifications, when and if\nsuch funding becomes available; and accept all grant awards from Cal OES in\nfuture fiscal years, if awarded by Cal OES, and execute all required grant\naward documents that may be necessary for completion of the grant in future\nfiscal years.
