10. Ensuring Inclusivity for Los Angeles County’s Anti-Racism, Diversity, and\nInclusion’s Strategic Plan\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Instruct the Executive\nDirector of Racial Equity’s internal Countywide Stakeholder Engagement\nworkgroup and Community Input Advisory Board (CIAB) to collaborate and\nwork with County Departments, Offices, Commissions, and employee\nassociations, to create a robust, linguistically appropriate, and culturally\ncompetent outreach plan to actively engage all vulnerable communities and\npopulations in the County, e.g., Latinos, Asian American and Pacific Islanders,\nAfrican-Americans, Indigenous people, LGBTQ+, among others, including\nopportunities for community members to be part of the CIAB, and report back\nto the Board in writing in 120 days with the outreach plan; direct all relevant\nDepartment Heads, Initiatives, Commissions, and Units to work with the\nExecutive Director of Racial Equity to incorporate stakeholder engagement in its\nequity action planning efforts; and direct the Chief Executive Officer to execute\nconsultant contracts to facilitate the foregoing efforts.
