2-D. Disposition and Development Agreement in the City of Compton\nRecommendation: Authorize the Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority to act as an agent to the County for the proposed\ndevelopment of County-owned properties located at 12617 and 12625 South\nWillowbrook Avenue in the City of Compton (2) (Property), with a supportive\nhousing project commonly referred to as Willowbrook III, which will consist of\n50 affordable units for low-income households, and one onsite manager's unit\n(Project); find that the recommended actions are within the scope of the\nproposed Project’s impacts analyzed in the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative\nDeclaration previously adopted by the Board; and authorize the Executive\nDirector to take the following actions: (Chief Executive Office and Los\nAngeles County Development Authority) APPROVE (Relates to Agenda No.\n27)\nManage the predevelopment phase of the proposed Project;\nNegotiate and execute a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA)\nbetween the County and LINC Housing Corporation (LINC), a California\nnon-profit public benefit corporation, collect the value of the Property in\nconnection with the terms of the DDA, and pay affected taxing entities for\nthe value of the Property;\nProceed with the sale of the Property and coordinate with the Chief\nExecutive Officer, for the execution of a quitclaim deed upon satisfaction\nof the conditions set forth in the DDA; and\nExecute any and all related or ancillary documentation or amendments,\nwhich are necessary to effectuate the action.
