43. Consulting Services Sole Source Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize and instruct the Chair to sign a contract with 9th\nWonder Global LLC, to provide as-needed recruitment and advertising\nconsulting services for personnel, with an emphasis on sworn staffing,\ncommencing upon execution by the Board through June 30, 2024, with four\none-year extension options, with a maximum contract amount not to exceed\n$1,500,000 which includes an allocation of $250,000 in contingency funds, with\nallocations to be established in the Department annual budget to meet the\nanticipated nee each Fiscal Year; and authorize the Sheriff to execute\namendments and change orders to the contract, including amendments and\nchange notices to effectuate modifications which do not materially affect any\nterm of the contract, add new or revised standard County contract provisions\nadopted by the Board as required periodically, exercise option terms, effectuate\nthe assignment and delegation/mergers or acquisitions provision, engage the\ncontractor to provide services as required by the County, with up to $250,000 in\ncontingency funds for unforeseen services, for the term of the contract, and\nterminate the contract, either in whole or in part, if necessary.
