Hearing on Project No. 2022-000727-(4), the Gateway Planning Area\nRezoning Program\nHearing on Project No. 2022-000727-(4), General Plan Amendment No.\nRPPL2022002013-(4), Zone Change No. RPPL2022002015-(4), Advance\nPlanning Project No. RPPL2022012287-(4), and Environmental\nAssessment No. RPPL2022002014-(4), to approve the Gateway Planning\nArea Rezoning Program, which amends the County of Los Angeles\n(County) General Plan and County Code, Title 22 - Planning and Zoning, to\ncomplete the proposed land use policy and zone changes in the\nunincorporated communities of South Whittier-Sunshine Acres and West\nWhittier-Los Nietos in the Gateway Planning Area as described in the\nRevised County of Los Angeles Housing Element 2021-29 (Revised\nHousing Element) and to require an affordable housing set-aside in housing\ndevelopments on certain parcels identified in the Revised Housing Element\nper State law; certify that the Addendum to the previously certified Housing\nElement Update Final Program Environmental Impact Report (Certified\nFEIR) for the Gateway Planning Area Rezoning Program has been\ncompleted in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and\nreflects the independent judgment and analysis of the County; find that the\nBoard has reviewed and considered the information contained in the\nAddendum with the Certified FEIR prior to approving the project, and\napprove the Addendum.
