33. Department of Mental Health Lease Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute a proposed\nlease amendment with 2200 Town Square East LLC, a California limited liability\ncompany, for the Department of Mental Health’s clinic and office space located\nat 2260 East Palmdale Boulevard in the City of Palmdale (5), to provide up to\n$254,610 of additional tenant improvement (TI) funds to be paid by the\nDepartment for a new total County TI contribution of $2,885,580, paid in one\nlump sum payment, and to be 100% funded with State and Federal funding\nsources; authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute any other ancillary\ndocumentation necessary to effectuate the increased funding, and take actions\nnecessary and appropriate to implement the authorization provided above; and\nfind that the proposed lease is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct.
