Los Angeles County Children and Families First - Proposition 10\nCommission for the Help Me Grow System Change Model Award\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to accept and\nimplement a forthcoming award from the Los Angeles County Children and\nFamilies First - Proposition 10 Commission (First 5 LA) for the continued\nsupport of Public Health’s Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Division\n(MCAH) as the Help Me Grow (HMG) Organizing Entity for the anticipated term,\neffective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, at an estimated amount of\n$1,000,000, which may include significant contractual provisions required by\nFirst 5 LA that depart from standard Board-approved language, including\ninsurance and indemnification, and notification to your Board and the Chief\nExecutive Office; and accept future awards and/or amendments that are\nconsistent with the provisions and requirements of the forthcoming awards that\nextend the term at amounts to be determined by First 5 LA, reflect revisions to\nthe award’s terms and conditions, to include, but not be limited to, the rollover of\nunspent funds, redirection of funds, and/or increase or decrease in funding.\n(Department of Public Health) APPROVE (23-1797)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
