49. Pharmacy Benefit Management Services Sole Source Contract\nAmendment\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Mental Health to\nexecute an amendment to a contract with Magellan Pharmacy Solutions, Inc.\n(Magellan), for the continued provision of pharmacy benefit management (PBM)\nservices, effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, with no total contract\namount for this contract as PBM services are paid on a fee-for services basis;\nthe estimated annual amount for the management of the Department’s\nprescription drug program is $7,172,541, fully funded by State Mental Health\nServices Act and 2011 Sales Tax Realignment revenues; execute future\namendments to the contract to revise contract language, revise the estimated\nannual amount, add, delete, modify, or replace the statement of work, and/or\nreflect changes to Federal, State, and County, regulation and/or policy,\nprovided that County’s total payment will not exceed an increase of 10% of the\nestimated annual amount, and sufficient funds are available; and terminate the\ncontract in accordance with the termination provisions, including termination for\nconvenience, if necessary.
