63. Facilities Apparatus Door Repair and Apparatus Door Replacement\nServices Contract\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), approve and authorize the Fire Chief to execute\ncontracts between the District and AllStar Garage Door, Inc., and McKendry\nDoor Sales, Inc. for the provision of as-needed Facilities apparatus door repair\nand apparatus door replacement services; authorize a combined maximum\ncontract amount of $4,500,000, for an initial term of three years, with two\none-year extension options, for a maximum contract amount, comprised of\nannual expenditures, not to exceed a combined total of $900,000 per contract\nyear with sufficient funding available in the District’s Fiscal Year 2023-24\nRecommended Budget; authorize the Fire Chief to execute amendments,\nsuspensions, or termination, if deemed necessary, including any extensions,\nand in accordance with the approved contract terms and conditions, provided\nthe amounts payable under such amendments do not exceed the $900,000\ncombined annual budget; and find that the contracts are exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
