40. Supportive Services Program Services Subawards\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Aging and Disabilities\nto award and execute five Supportive Services Program (SSP) Services sole\nsource Subawards with current governmental Subrecipients, City of Alhambra,\nCity of El Monte, City of Gardena, City of Glendale, and City of Norwalk, for the\nterm effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, with three one-year and six\nmonth-to-month extension options, for a maximum term of four years and six\nmonths, at an anticipated, combined annual amount of $296,407 and with\nallocations to the Subrecipients subject to the availability of funding, and\ncontingent upon each Subrecipient’s performance in meeting the goals of the\nSSP; and authorize the Director to take the following actions: (Aging and\nDisabilities Department) APPROVE\nExecute amendments, add new, relevant, or updated Federal, State\nand/or County Subaward terms and conditions, and increase or\ndecrease the Subaward amounts that may exceed 10% of the maximum\nsubaward amount based on the availability of funding, and/or based on\nsubrecipient’s performance provided that the total allocation does not\nexceed available funding; and\nIncrease or decrease each Subrecipient’s unit rates for SSP Subawards\nat the sole discretion of the Director, subject to the availability of funding\nand/or the Subrecipient’s performance; and\nTerminate the Subawards with the Subrecipient upon their request, and\nthose that have closed or are in default of their Subaward requirement,\nfor subrecipient default or for the convenience of the County.
