32. Sheriff’s Department Lease Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the\nproposed lease with 901 Corporate Center, LP, a California limited partnership,\nfor the Sheriff’s Department’s continued use of 7,922 sq ft of office space, and\n75 on-site parking spaces, located at 901 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 310, in\nthe City of Monterey Park (1), with an estimated maximum first-year base rental\namount, including parking, of $240,107 and an estimated total lease amount of\n$1,273,000, over the five-year term, 100% funded by Net County Cost, which is\nincluded in the Sheriff’s existing budget; authorize the Chief Executive Officer to\nexecute any other ancillary documentation and take actions necessary to\neffectuate and implement the proposed lease including, without limitation,\nexercising any early termination option; and find that the proposed lease is\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
