California Department of Public Health, Office of Refugee Health for the\nRefugee Health Assessment Program Grant Award\nRecommendation: Authorize and instruct the Director of Public Health to accept\nand implement a grant award from the California Department of Public Health\n(CDPH), Office of Refugee Health (ORH), for the period of October 1, 2022,\nthrough September 30, 2023, to support the Refugee Health Assessment\nProgram, on a fee-for-service reimbursable basis of $351 per fully completed\nhealth assessment, and administrative costs of $486,437, to be distributed in\nquarterly payments; and accept future awards and/or amendments that are\nconsistent with the requirements of the grant award, that extend the funding\nperiods at amounts to be determined by CDPH ORH, reflect revisions to the\ngrant award’s terms and conditions to include, but not be limited to, the rollover\nof unspent funds, redirection of funds, changes to rates, and/or provide an\nincrease or decrease in funding.
