Department of Health Services Lease Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the\nproposed lease with Seanda Properties, LLC, a California limited liability\ncompany, for the Department of Health Services’ continued use of\napproximately 15,280 sq ft of office space, and 61 on-site parking spaces,\nlocated at 1100 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 100, in the City of Monterey Park\n(1), with an estimated maximum first-year base rental amount of $438,576, with\nan option to rent an additional ten spaces at $70 per space per month, totaling\n$446,976, with an estimated aggregate amount of $3,968,000 over the\neight-year term, 100% funded by Net County Cost; authorize the Chief\nExecutive Officer to execute any other ancillary documentation and take actions\nnecessary to effectuate and implement the proposed lease, including, without\nlimitation, exercising any early termination rights; and find that the proposed\nlease is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
