65. As-Needed Transcription Services Contract\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), approve and authorize the Fire Chief to execute a\ncontract between the District and Resolute Documentation Services, for the\nprovision of as-needed transcription services to the District’s Professional\nPerformance Section on an as-needed and intermittent basis; authorize a\nmaximum contract amount of $225,000, including the initial contract term of\nthree years and two one-year extension options, with the maximum contract\namount being comprised of annual expenditures in a total amount not to exceed\n$45,000 per contract year; authorize the Fire Chief to execute amendments,\nsuspensions, or termination, if deemed necessary, including any extension\noptions, provided the amounts payable under such amendments do not exceed\nthe annual budget of $45,000; and find that this contract is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
