66. Clerical Services Contracts at Designated Probation Department\nLocations\nRecommendation: Find that clerical services at designated Probation\nDepartment locations can be performed more economically by an independent\ncontractor; authorize the Interim Chief Probation Officer to prepare and execute\na contract with AppleOne Employment Services, for the provision of clerical\nservices at designated Probation Department locations for an estimated annual\namount of $6,733,053, commencing on July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024;\nand authorize the Interim Chief Probation Officer to take the following actions:\n(Probation Department) APPROVE\nPrepare and execute contract amendments to extend the contract term\nfor up to four 12-month periods, beyond the initial term;\nPrepare and execute amendments to the contract to decrease or\nincrease either the contract hourly rates, not to exceed 10% of the initial\nhourly rate, and/or 180 days to the period of performance, pursuant to\nterms of the contract; and\nApprove non-material, technical, and administrative changes to the\ncontract, necessary changes to the scope of service and, if necessary,\nterminate the contract, in whole or in part.
