39. Friday Night Live Programs Memorandum of Understanding\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute\na Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), with the Los Angeles County Office of\nEducation to support the Friday Night Live (FNL) Programs, effective\nJuly 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028, at an annual maximum obligation of\n$350,000, for a total maximum amount of $1,750,000, 100% offset by Federal\nSubstance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SABG) funds passed\nthrough the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to the\nTulare Superintendent of Schools (Tulare) Assistance Listing No. 93.959; and\nauthorize the Director to take the following related actions: (Department of\nPublic Health) APPROVE\nExecute an agency agreement with Tulare to support the FNL Programs,\nwhich contains mutual indemnification, effective upon execution for\nFiscal Year 2022-23, with Tulare to pay Public Health-Substance Abuse\nPrevention and Control (SAPC) up to $235,000, 100% offset by Federal\nSABG funds passed through DHCS to Tulare;\nExecute amendments to the MOU that extend the term for five additional\none-year periods through June 30, 2033, provide an increase or\ndecrease in funding at amounts, to be determined by the funder, and\nmake any corresponding service adjustments, as necessary; and\nAmend or replace the agency agreement to extend the term for five\none-year periods through June 30, 2028, provide an increase or\ndecrease in funding at amounts to be determined by the funder, and\nmake any corresponding service adjustments, as necessary.
