Renaming the Historic and Life-Saving LAC+USC Medical Center\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Authorize the Director of\nHealth Services to re-name the LAC+USC Medical Center campus to honor the\nMedical Center’s mission to building healthy and resilient communities by being\na trusted provider of excellent, whole-person care, with the new name to be\nunveiled and announced at the name launch event at LAC+USC Medical Center\non Wednesday, May 3, 2023; and instruct all applicable County Departments,\n(e.g. Chief Executive Office, Human Resources, Auditor-Controller, Internal\nServices, Treasurer and Tax Collector, Public Health, Sheriff, and Mental\nHealth, etc.) to make all appropriate changes for the name change to be\nreflected in the various systems, websites, and written communications.\n(23-1719)\nAttachments: Motion by Supervisor Solis\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
