32. Adult Protective Services Center of Excellence Subaward with WISE &\nHealthy Aging\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Aging and Disabilities\nto award and execute the Adult Protective Services (APS) Center of Excellence\nSubaward for the term effective May 15, 2023, or upon Board approval, through\nApril 30, 2025, with three one-year and six month-to-month extension options,\nthrough October 31, 2028, for a maximum term of five years and six months\nwith WISE & Healthy Aging, for an anticipated annual amount of $700,000, or a\nmaximum total of $3,850,000 with funding to be included in the Departments’\nFiscal Year 2022-23 budget; and authorize the Director to take the following\nactions: (Aging and Disabilities Department) APPROVE\nAmend the Subaward with WISE & Healthy Aging to add new, relevant,\nor updated Federal, State and/or County Subaward terms, and increase\nthe Subaward amount that may exceed 10% based on the availability of\nfunding, and/or based on subrecipient’s performance provided that the\ntotal allocation does not exceed available funding; and\nTerminate the Subaward contracts with the subrecipient upon their\nrequest, and those that have closed or are in default of their Subaward\nrequirement, for subrecipient default or for the convenience of the\nCounty.
