46. On-Call Smart Gardening Program Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award a services contract to Go2Zero Strategies, LLC, a\nLocal Small Business Enterprise, to provide education, outreach, and\nmaintenance of County Smart Gardening Centers throughout the County, for a\ntwo-year term with two one-year and six month-to-month extension options, for\na maximum potential contract term of 54 months and a maximum potential\ncontract amount of $4,695,546 with funding for the first year included in the\nDepartment’s Solid Waste Management Fund, and with additional funding to be\nrequested through the annual budget process; authorize the Director of Public\nWorks to execute and renew the contract for each additional extension options\nif, in the opinion of the Director, the contractor has successfully performed\nduring the previous contract period, and the services are still required, and\napprove and execute amendments to incorporate necessary changes within the\nscope of work, and suspend work, if it is in the best interest of the County to do\nso; annually increase the contract amount up to an additional 10% which is\nincluded in the maximum potential contract amount for unforeseen additional\nwork within the scope of the contract if required.
